Every single Troll Trails troll is hand made in Montana, USA. We pride ourselves in making quality, unique and intricate clay trolls. We are proud to share our creatures with the world, and hope you enjoy your newly adopted friend for many years to come.
Troll Trails trolls are all individually sculpted by Bryanna using high-quality professional clay. Living in the Rocky Mountains of Montana with her husband and two children, she draws inspiration from Roald Dahl, the Grimms’ Fairy Tales, and her lifelong love of working with her hands. That blend of imagination and craft eventually grew into the world of Troll Trails.
OUR PROCESS:
Every troll is unique, we do not use templates, molds or any mass produced shortcuts. While every troll is different, our general process for creating a Troll Trails troll looks a little something like this:
We want you to love your adopted Troll Trails troll! After adoption, we may ask for your permission to publish your generalized location, and would love you to send us photos of your trolls in their forever home. Got a business? We would love to publish on our web site and social media your troll’s location so that others can come visit.
Our family of trolls include those that are both available for adoption, and those who have already found their ever-after dwellings.
Good News! According to Linksnarl Grubbyte (our fearless computer troll who joined an internship program to brave another world and learn about computers), the following trolls are waiting to be adopted. Below, you will find the list of trolls, along with their own personal story, and their photo gallery. Take a look, and see which one pulls on your heartstrings! Just a hearty note though, while Mr Grubbyte is usually fairly quick to update our web site, trolls showing available here may have already been adopted, so be sure to check out our Etsy Store!
Gribblet Gemwhistle
No one knows how old Gribblet Gemwhistle is. Some say he sprouted before the first Pine trees cracked the soil. Others say he IS the woods or at least the part beneath it. One thing is certain, though, he has been around for a very long time.
Gribblet doesn’t speak. Not because he can’t – He just doesn’t care to. His silence, however, is not empty. It is thick and heavy like the Earth he carries upon his back.
He has no friends, no foes, no plans. Just the rock, the dark, and the treasures waiting to be found.
Mostly, he is left alone. The Forest keeps his secrets, and so does he. But sometimes on still nights, a dim glow can be seen deep in the forest. A flicker of gem-light, and the low, rhythmic crunch of hammer on stone. Like the mountain is breathing, like something ancient is still awake, still digging. That’s Gribblet.
Grimga MossMaw
Grimga is a forest elder, her body bent by time and her gnarled knuckles carrying the weight of the forest years. An enigma the other trolls speak of in hushed tones. Some say she is a witch always foraging and always brewing. While others know her to be a healer and a guardian. A friend to all who respect the balance of nature.
Grimga is a patient troll for time has long ceased to matter to her. She never hurried and understood the forest had its seasons, its moods, and knew it would always give her what she needed when she needed it.
If you look close enough you might spot the signs that she is near you. Herbs bunched and hung to dry, tiny jagged footprints trailing off into the moss, smells of lavender and croaks of frogs. And if you look closer still, you might catch glimpse of her piercing green eyes.
Perhaps just a firefly fluttering about or maybe….
Grimga MossMaw has been watching you all along.
Gudrik Stringweaver
In the mossy heart of the forest peaks, where the pines whispered secrets older than time, lived a troll named Gudrik Stringweaver.
Unlike his scavenger kin, Gudrik was a creature of delicate whimsy. His gnarled hands possessed a surprising finesse and his small twinkling eyes gleamed with dreams. Beneath a canopy of pinecones in a cave draped in colorful leaves, Gudrik crafted marionettes. Puppets so life-like they seemed to breathe. And perhaps they do – For Imagination is the spark that ignites magic and with magic anything is possible.
Murphin Moonhopper
The ballad of Murphin Moonhopper …
“Every leaf remembers a song. I just borrow them” says Murphin as he sits upon his favorite stump and begins to play. He doesn’t play for applause. He Plays to remember. He remembers the music of the old trolls, deep rolling stums that echoed through the caverns.
They say that Murphins music can help lost animals find their way home – As birds flock in the trees around him and the foxes cuddle up with rabbits to listen, as if they were not enemies just moments before.
Some nights if you are near the forest you might hear it, too. Faint notes drifting through the old pine trees. Sweet and strange yet familiar – like a memory.
Miss Trilly TinkerTuft
Trilly is beautiful in her own wild woodland way. Her life is full of play and joy – she thinks the air always smells of pine-sugar and promise.
Trilly wakes every morning, grabs her parasol and sets out to find pretty forest things. She picks colorful flowers that change colors as she moves them. She grabs mushrooms to stick upon her hat. After all, it’s all about the accessories, she says.
The generations above her grumble about Trilly, “trolls are for hard work and toil not for play and twirling”. But the forest knows all and sees all even the tiny smiles twitching at the corner of their mouths as she skips by dropping flower petals like a happy little breadcrumb trail.
And if you happen to be out and see a shimmer in a puddle that should not shimmer, you just might catch a glimpse of miss Trilly herself! Oh and she is excited to meet you, too – as she is waiting for someone who still believes in pretty little forest things
Snib Naptwig
Meet Snib Naptwig, young, lazy and gleefully mischievous. Snib is barely eighty winters old (still wet behind the ears, as the elder trolls grumbled).
He didn’t walk anywhere, why would he? That involves effort. Instead, Snib spent his days upon an ancient turtle whose idea of speed was “sometime next week, maybe”. An outlook Snib liked. They meandered along their days with eyelids half closed and smiles on their faces.
Snib’s true passion was his crooked little pipe, always filled with the finest magical moss. The smoke drifted behind him in a dreamy trail, turning the air shimmery and making every creature that passed through it suddenly feel like maybe deadlines were just suggestions afterall.
So if you are ever in the mountains and you see a faint trail of glowing green mist curling between the trees, and hear that soft creak of an ancient shell moving slower than a sigh – just smile, take a deep breath of that sweet dreamy smoke and remember..
There is no hurry, the good spots will still be there when you arrive.
Hobs the Traveler
Hobs never took the straight road if a bent one offered shade. He travelled from troll tribe to troll tribe with his companion by his side. A snail named Peb – whose shell has been cracked and mended with tree sap more times than he can count.
He never stayed in one place for long. Not because he wasn’t welcome but because the road would begin tugging at his feet. By the time his new friends noticed he was gone, they already missed him, and the stories he would tell.
If you ever see a troll walking the long way around the mountain, humming off key, with snail tracing silver lines beside him, look closely. One eye will be blue and the other green, and both will be smiling. He won’t stay long, but you’ll be happy he passed through.
More Troll Trails trolls are coming soon
Check back regularly as more Troll Trails trolls become available! We are constantly working on creating new trolls, and are excited to share them with the world. Keep an eye on our website and social media to be one of the first to meet our new family members.
While these trolls have already found their ever-after dwellings, each one has a unique story that make up the Troll Trails lore. And here you can read all about them.
Little Ninni Mimblefoot
In the deepest, darkest, part of the old woods danced a troll both wild and sweet, with tangled hair and grubby feet. Her name is little Ninni Mimblefoot.
She skips and hops through muddy puddles and around toadstool rings- she makes the owls and blackbirds sing. Her beauty goes beyond measure and her love for animals is her truest treasure.
Little Ninni Mimblefoot has laughter that carries through the wind. She is radiant, wild and free, She is the forest’s melody.
So if you hear her giggles afloat and see her tiny heart shaped foot prints close, you’ll know that little Ninni is on your tracks – barefoot, bold, not looking back!
Ninni was adopted in September 2025
Riccardo Britannica
Now retired from his corporate job bossing other trolls around in IT, Riccardo is putting down his laptop and picking up his Bible and guitar.
He is now free to roam the land strumming away and preaching the Word of God, blessing trolls with his love of music and Jesus.
He lived happily ever after content and at peace.
And hopefully knowing his knowledge, sincerity, and kindness will continue to inspire the trolls Riccardo worked with.
NOTE: Riccardo was a custom Troll Trails troll that was created as a retirement gift. His customizations included is story background, guitar, bible and other trinkets.

Archipelago Puddlestomper
Archipelago Puddlestomoper skips across the moss, a tiny troll with tinkering hands – nothing he builds gets lost.
He’s building forts from fallen logs and gadgets made of twine. He’ll hand you one with sparkly eyes and say “ here, this one is mine”
He helps the oldest trolls fix this and that and those. From Wobbly stools to squeaky gates, to a tangled garden hose.
He shoots his arrows to the sky just for practice never fear – and when they fall the tree tops laugh delighted he is near.
He is the forest heartbeat, its rhythm, spark and cheer – for when he arrives, the shadows fade and life grows bold and clear.
So if you’re feeling low and blue, come walk beneath the tall green pines. The woods will whisper softly to you, “don’t worry, little one, you’re fine, Our playful Stomper soon will appear and chase your gloom away from here”

Daddy Graybrum Flintbeard and his younglings
Graybrum was big, his back broad and his beard gradually turning the color of storm clouds. If he wasn’t hauling roots for supper, he was patching the roof of their stone den, or scrubbing berry juice off of the cave wall – because you see Graybrum is a daddy, he has younglings.
This meant he carried sleepy little trolls on his shoulder when their legs gave out, it meant teaching them how to properly stack stones and it meant explaining yet again why we don’t lick the glowing shrooms.
He never missed the opportunity for a good dad joke. If one of his younglings tripped over a root he was quick to reply “ careful little one, those roots are grounded”. They’d roll their eyes and groan but these will be the legacies echoing through the taverns long after his younglings are grown.
And after the day is done, when he finally got his littles to sleep, he’d kick back his achy feet and think to himself. “This. This is the good hard”
So, if you are strolling through the twigs and trees and you hear those happy little giggles near by, you’ll know that it’s Graybrum doing what he does best – being number one dad in all of the mountain
Daddy Graybrum Flintbeard and his younglings were adopted in July 2025
Mr Bobbin CreekBounce
Within the forest’s green embrace lives a troll named Bobbin CreekBounce – a name not given lightly or voluntarily – for you see Bobbin had an unusual talent for finding himself in the exact wrong place at the exact wrong moment. Specifically whenever a grizzly bear needed a small snack.
Bobbin wasn’t very fast, he wasn’t very sneaky, but he could bounce when he heard that growl – right over the creek he was always catching fish!
And although his troll fam would give him grief over those bears, they were grateful for the food he provided and his other skill of starting a fire.
Bobbin CreekBounce, a troll with muddy feet, a knack for accidental acrobats is the bringer of good stories, laughter, and full bellies to all.
But if you are in the trees, next to the fast moving creek water, and you see those tiny footprints -RUN!
Surely there is a hungry bear nearby.
Bobbin was adopted in August 2025
